Speech & Dramatic Arts provides students with opportunities to develop public speaking, performance, and communication skills in a supportive and creative environment. Students can choose a category that interests them, with options to perform pieces that are either read or memorized.
Students may work independently or collaborate with a group of friends while building confidence, creativity, and presentation skills.
Speech & Dramatic Arts is open to all 6th-8th grade students.
Meeting Information
Practice Schedule: Meet with Mrs. Stowers once per week for a scheduled practice time
Sign-Up Deadline: Before winter break
Practice Begins: January
Competitions: Three after-school competitions from late January through early March
