What's Happening?

Welcome to Hillside Elementary 2026-2027 School Year!

We are so excited to welcome you to a new school year at Hillside Elementary School!

Below, you’ll find important information and links to help your family get ready for the year ahead. We have a few updates and new processes this year, so please take a moment to review the information below.

New School Start and Dismissal Times

As you know, our school start times have shifted for the 2026–2027 school year.

NEW School Star and Dismissal Schedule: 8:25 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.

Transportation Arrival and Dismissal Windows:
Secondary: Bus arrival/parent drop-off will begin at 7:30 a.m.; dismissal will begin at 3:10 p.m.
Elementary: Bus arrival/parent drop-off will begin at 7:55 a.m.; dismissal will begin at 3:25 p.m.

New Skyward Family Access

We also have a new Skyward Family Access link. Be sure to bookmark it so you can easily access important information specific to your student throughout the school year.

Updated Drop-Off & Pick-Up Routes

We have updated our drop-off and pick-up routes at Hillside Elementary this year. Please review the information before the first day so you know where to go when dropping off or picking up your student.

First Days of School

We’re excited to welcome our Tigers back! Here’s what to expect during the first days of school:

  • August 31 – Grades K-5 Orientation
  • September 1 – Grades K–5 Orientation
  • September 2 – Grades 1–12 Programming Begins + Kindergarten Orientation
  • September 3 – All Programming Begins, 4K–12
