Battle of the Books is a fun reading challenge that gives students the opportunity to explore great books, share their love of reading, and compete in a friendly competition. Participants will read 20 books from an assigned list, either independently or with friends, and then compete against teachers by answering questions about the books they have read.
Battle of the Books is open to 6th-8th grade students and teachers.
Participation Information
Timeline: September-March
Reading: Students read books on their own time.
Meetings: Some homeroom meetings will be held for fun activities and preparation.
