General Information About AP Courses
Advanced Placement courses are college courses offered in the high school setting. These courses require rigorous workload and maturity on the part of the student. At the end of the course, college credit may be earned by passing a national test given in May. The approximate cost of each Advanced Placement test is $100.00. The definition of passing is different for each college or university. To determine the score necessary, students should contact their college of interest.
Students should conference with individual AP teachers about specifics related to that class.

Students that are in Calculus I or 2, Psychology, and/or Statistics for Dual Credit with UW-River Falls should NOT register here unless they plan on taking the AP exam.
