Accelerated Reader
Accelerated Reader is a computerized program used by the district to test students on books they have read. Each year from elementary school through senior year, students are required to complete a certain number of AR points as a part of their grade. For individual class requirements, check the individual course syllabus. Generally, most high school classes have students try to attain 25 points per quarter. College-bound students are required to read at least one book per quarter off of a college-bound reading list.
