Next Steps
In April 2024, residents of the School District of New Richmond approved a facilities referendum, a need that was identified during the development of the District's Strategic Plan. Through this process, we recognized three key priorities that must be addressed:
- Expanding building capacity to accommodate our student needs.
- Investing in the ongoing maintenance of our facilities.
- Creating learning environments that effectively meet the needs of both students and staff.
The pre-construction phase is well underway, with planning teams meeting regularly to explore the most effective options for our schools as well as touring various districts to explore the possibilities. The overall goal of this phase is to collaboratively create a project concept plan and approach that is in alignment with the District's Mission and goals.
The next step will be meeting with user groups and gathering input from them on functional details. According to the presentation below, we remain on track for timely project completion.
