Lunch money can be deposited in several ways:

• Online payment can be made through www.myschoolbucks.com. Please note there is a fee for this service. 
• The student may bring cash or check to the cashier in the cafeteria, in a sealed envelope with  student name and PIN number.
• You may mail your deposit directly to District Office at 701 E. 11th Street, New Richmond, WI 54017.
• You may bring payment to the District Office (drop box)

Please send or bring your deposit in before the school year begins so that there are no problems with your child’s meal account on the first day.  We ask that you send in a minimum of $25.00 per student with your first deposit. We suggest paying by check or using our online system and sending your first payment by August 25th.  If we receive one payment per family the amount will be equally divided between the students listed on your check/envelope.

Always mark your check or envelope with your child’s name and if possible, PIN number.

Online deposits made through MySchoolBucks.com are updated every 15 min. You may set up an auto payment function through this account. 

Family payments will be split EVENLY unless specified.

Please turn in your completed application as soon as possible.  Applications can be turned in at any time throughout the year.  Eligible students can participate in both breakfast and lunch programs. 

If your child qualifies for free or reduced price meals and only takes a milk at lunch, they must have money in their student meal account as they will be charged $0.50 per carton of milk.

When a student becomes enrolled in the New Richmond School District, they will automatically be assigned a 4 digit Meal ID number.  Each student has a different number, and no two students’ are the same. 

Students will have the same Meal ID for their entire time enrolled in the district.  If they were enrolled the previous year, their Meal ID number will REMAIN the same.  If they were enrolled in a different school within the New Richmond School District, the number will REMAIN the same (for example: moving from an elementary school to the middle school).

All students new to the district and incoming kindergartners will receive a letter in the mail with their PIN Number. 

We will continue to use an automated notification system to notify parents if their child has a low meal account balance.

The systems will notify families through text and email when the balance is negative.

You can set up an online account to send low balance e-mail notifications through www.myschoolbucks.com. Remember to use your child’s 7-digit student ID number through our student database (Skyward) system to set up your account.  We will be happy to provide that number to you.

You will also receive notifications via our Tiger App.

Students in grades K-12 who are eligible for free or reduced meals shall continue to receive regular meals.

Students in grades K-12 who are not eligible for reduced or free meals shall continue to receive regular meals; the cost shall be charged to their accounts.

New Richmond School District will work with guardians and parents in negative balance situations. 

**Ala Carte items cannot be purchased if the student account has a negative balance.  

New Richmond School District will accommodate food allergies as confirmed by a licensed medical practitioner.

• "Practitioner" is defined by Wisconsin State Statue 118.29(1)(e): any physician, dentist, optometrist, physician assistant, advanced practice nurse prescriber, or podiatrist licensed in any state. Food allergy documentation but be signed by one of these practitioners.

Medical Practitioner's statement for child must identify:

• The child's disability
• An explanation of why the disability restricts the child's diet
• The major life activity operation of a major bodily function affected by the disability
• The food or foods to be omitted from the child's diet and the food or choice of foods that must be substituted.

To approve your child for food allergy accommodations, please download the form below and return with the medical practitioner's signature. This form can be returned by:
