Wisconsin FoodShare- FoodShare is Wisconsin's version of the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). People who are approved can get benefits to spend at participating grocery stores, farmer's markets and other places that sell food.
Five Loaves Food Shelf- The Food Shelf provides non-perishable items (canned and boxed foods) in addition to fresh produce, deli items, milk, eggs, frozen meats and other perishable products as available.
Ruby's Pantry- Ruby's Pantry hosts monthly food distributions for a $25 donation. There are no income or residency requirements to receive food.
Fresh Express Mobile Market- Offers essential groceries at no cost at pop-up markets in the area. Comes to Starr Elementary on the 4th Saturday of the month.
Happy Kids Backpack Program- A bag filled with staple food items and vouchers for Kwik Trip is sent home Fridays with your school age child to provide food over the weekend. Link leads to the email address of Bobbie Guyette, Nutrition Director for sign up information.
