  • A lot of information about COVID-19 is being shared through multiple news sources. Some of the information is accurate whereas some is not. We will always follow and share with you the recommendations from the CDC and from the Wisconsin health department. We encourage you to refer to these resources as well.

  • SDNR Pandemic Action Plan (2020)

    School staff will be alerted by email that a public health emergency at a national, state or local level has been identified.  Each building administrator will make an announcement to alert staff they are required to check their email for important information and instructions as soon as possible.

    The City of New Richmond, the School District of New Richmond, St. Croix County Emergency Management & Health Department, Westfields Hospital & Clinic, St. Mary School, local first responders and local stakeholders held a meeting yesterday afternoon pertaining to the Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).  Our focus was on preparedness, communication, planning and collaboration.

    Governor Evers has announced his plans and criteria for re-opening Wisconsin. Evers’ Bounce Back Plan as outlined in DHS’
    Emergency Order #31. According to Evers’ statement, the plan “is informed in part by the President’s Guidelines for Opening
    up America Again” which was issued on April 16. Evers’ highlights Wisconsin “does not meet the criteria the White House
    established to start reopening our state.”

    Ayer, el Gobernador Evers extendió la orden "Safer at Home" del 24 de abril al 26 de mayo de 2020 (haga clic aquí para ver la Orden de emergencia # 28 del Gobernador Evers). Esta orden incluye el cierre de todas las escuelas de Wisconsin por el resto del año escolar. Sabemos que esta decisión no se tomó a la ligera y todas las entidades están luchando con nuestra pandemia actual.     Governor Evers extended the “Safer at Home” order from April 24 to May 26, 2020. This order includes the closure of all Wisconsin schools for the remainder of the school year.
