• Hello! I’m Brooke John, Speech-Language Pathologist at Paperjack Elementary.  I grew up in River Falls, WI were I currently live with my husband and three children.  I have a B.S. in Communication Disorders from UW-River Falls, and earned my Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders at Minnesota State University-Mankato.  I earned my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in 2001.  I have worked for New Richmond School District since 2002.

I believe all children have the potential to be great communicators and it is up to the adults to learn to how to best expand their abilities.  I find it exciting to see the wonderful gains young students can make in a year!  I like to help my students prepare for kindergarten through increasing receptive, expressive language, articulation and incorporating fine motor as well as sensory activities to increase base.  In addition, practicing school expectations through table work, large group time as well and independent work time and one on one instruction.

I am excited to work with your child!
