Greetings! Welcome to Mr. Halverson's US History Page.
It's a privilege to join the School District of New Richmond. I have spent the past two years teaching in Frederic and the prior fifteen years as the Director of Programs at a camp in Amery, WI. My wife, Clare, is a second-grade teacher in Amery and we have two daughters, Signe and Faith, who are in fifth and seventh grades. As a family we love to spend time outdoors or playing a variety of sports. We are big sports fans with a split household in football allegiance. Clare and Faith are Packer fans, while Signe and I are Bear fans, which means there are at least two days a year we don’t talk to each other very much 😊. We are also huge Duke Basketball and Badger fans! I am excited about joining this incredible staff, and I look forward to building relationships with students and families.
