New Richmond Middle School

Welcome!

I am Sydney Burk and I teach eighth grade Language Arts in the black house at New Richmond Middle School! I grew up in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota and attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls while majoring in Broad Area English Education. I was able to gain skills and experiences with students and fell in love with teaching middle school language arts during my time at UWRF. I student taught in Baldwin-Woodville and found that eighth grade is where it is at. After graduation, I found my place at New Richmond Middle School with the eighth grade team. In eighth grade, we will spend a lot of time writing and engaging in fun activities during your time in Language Arts!

I am excited to create a community in my classroom with my students and to spend each day working together and engaging in activities in language arts this year!
