    7th Grade Literature

    Cyclone House

  • Hello!

I am so excited to meet and read with you!

I am Ms. Bahma, and this is my second year teaching at New Richmond Middle School! I graduated from The University of Wisconsin -- Eau Claire in 2021 with a degree in Secondary English Education, and grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota. Now, I am the Cyclone house literature teacher and live in St. Paul where I can listen to audiobooks on my drives to and from school.

When I am not teaching, I love to go hiking, write, cook, and most of all -- read! My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, but I will read just about anything and love to discuss and recommend the books that I read! Not only that, I love to have books recommended to me as well and always have a running list of books I need to read.

This year in literature, we will be reading Stargirl. Z For Zachariah, The Watson's Go to Birmingham and Black Duck. We will also be writing a research paper using student-selected topics as well as giving a speech. Updates will come throughout the year as we progress through our units, but students will be expected to do some reading each and every night.

If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at or call me at 715-243-1652. I always strive to be here for my students and their families.

I look forward to an exciting and literature filled year!
