I grew up in New Richmond, and I graduated from high school in 2011. Shortly after, I went off to college in La Crosse, Wisconsin to pursue a career in education. After graduating in 2015, I accepted a 4th grade teaching position in New Richmond. I taught 4th grade for 2 years, and I then swapped grade levels to teach Literature here at New Richmond Middle School. This is now my fifth year teaching 6th grade Literature, and I love every minute of it! My husband, Jack, my puppy Jane and I live in Woodbury, and we love to explore all the walking trails the city has to offer. Outside of teaching, I love to travel. My favorite vacation was the time I spent a week in Africa. Where have you been? I also love reading books. I truly think they are the best way to travel while not even leaving the sofa. My favorite book of all time is Matilda (I have read it 16 times), but my current read is The Giver. What do you like to read? 

This year, you will be reading so many wonderful books! These may include- Shiloh, Walk Two Moons, Crispin, and Dark Side of Nowhere. Which one do you think you will like best?
