  • Dear Player and Parents:

    Welcome to the 2019 Boys Soccer season.  I am excited about my third season as head coach of the Boys Soccer Program.  You are now part of a tradition rich program and playing the sport of soccer will allow you to be part of a team in which hard work and dedication can allow you success both as a team and individually.  As coaches we will work hard every day to make you better.  Please become familiar with our contact information.

    Captain's Practice

    Dates:         Monday, August 12 through Friday, August 16

    Times:         9 am-11 am

    Location:      Starr Elementary Soccer Fields

     

    Parent and Player Meeting

    Date:           Tuesday, August 13

    Times:         Freshman players and parents from 6-6:30 pm

                       All players and parents from 6:30-8 pm

    Location:      Large Forum at the High School

     

    Tryout Schedule – Mandatory for all Players

    Dates:           Monday, August 19 through Friday, August 23

    Times:           8 am-9 am (Fitness) AND 6 pm-8 pm (Skills)

    Location:       Morning Session at the Varsity Field and Afternoon Session at the High School Practice Field (behind NRHS)

     

    Before practicing athletes must have on file:

    1. Physical Exam card or alternate year card
    2. Emergency card/parental permission
    3. Signed athletic code card
    4. Athletic fees paid
    5. All uniforms and equipment turned in from previous sports season

    Please note NO excuses will be accepted for not having your information turned in on time.  This is your responsibility to have taken care of BEFORE the beginning of tryouts on August 19.

    All players are required to purchase practice gear that is worn each day at practice and game shorts and socks that the player will keep.  Uniform tops are provided by the school and turned in at the end of each season.

    It is very important that you bring the following to each and every training session: running shoes, cleats, water, shin guards and be in your practice gear. Tardiness will not be accepted.  No excuses!

    We will kick off try outs with a 1.75 mile run on the track to be completed in 12 minutes or less.
