I’m SO excited to be starting my twenty-third year of teaching here at New Richmond Middle School.
This is my eighth year in New Richmond, and before becoming a Tiger, I taught at Rice Lake Middle School in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. In my career, I’ve taught both sixth and seventh grades with a variety of subjects including Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I sure do love to learn!
My family moved to New Richmond from Cumberland, Wisconsin. My husband is a 7th grade teacher here at NRMS in the Tornado House--and we have two children. Kennan who is a Freshman at University of Minnesota-Moorhead and Lydia in grade 11 at NRHS. Rounding out the Stowers family, is our cat Reuben.
After graduating from Cedarburg High School in Cedarburg, Wisconsin (just north of Milwaukee), I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Winona State University in Minnesota. I earned my Master’s Degree from University of Wisconsin LaCrosse in 2003.
