School Counseling Mission StatementThe School District of New Richmond comprehensive school counseling program will strive to ensure the academic success of all students with a proactive and asset-based approach. This will be accomplished through focus on the domains of Personal/Social Development, Career Development and Academic Development. Students will develop an understanding of who they are as individuals and how they develop, as well as an understanding of the greater world, their place in it and contribution to it. This knowledge will lead to an increased understanding of academic learning and purpose. The school counseling program will be at the center of the New Richmond School District educational community with school counselors who are leaders, program facilitators and direct providers of services to students, parents, staff and the community both individually and in collaboration with others.Select the link below to access current news in your NRHS School Counseling department.
